Day One
Arrivals - Getting here is easy! Enjoy nonstop daily jet service from Salt Lake City to Steamboat Springs on Delta Connection with convenient connections from over 100 cities, or connecting out of Denver on United Express. Summer is also a great time for taking the beautiful drive through the mountains; Steamboat Springs is only a three and a half hour drive from Denver International Airport.

Take a Walk - Once your group arrives and gets settled into your lodging property of choice, feel free to take a walk around the base of the ski area to find that it has transitioned from an energetic ski playground to an action packed activity center with the Gondola Square Adventure Zone, or explore the historic downtown area and shop in any one of our unique stores. Get a feel for the valley with a stroll along the Yampa River Core Trail and see the numerous parks including the Yampa River Botanic Park.  This detour will introduce you to the beauty and diversity of this high altitude garden.  Or follow the self-guided Hot Springs Tour or "tread Through Steamboat" on the historic walking tour.

Day Two
Mountain Biking - Rent a mountain bike or our fun and friendly mountain scooter - The Diggler - and enjoy the mountain on over 50-miles of mountain trails. Enjoy swooping through the aspens and wildflowers while riding around the mountain. The best part of mountain biking Steamboat is the use of the gondola to get to the top! Simply load your bike on the gondola and enjoy the "ride" up. Feel free to pedal your way to the top for an extra good workout!  If trail riding is not your forte, the Yampa River Core Trail is an excellent alternative.  This seven-mile paved path connects the mountain base area to downtown Steamboat Springs with numerous parks and sites along the way.

Hiking- If you would prefer to take in all the beauty of Steamboat's mountains on foot, we have plenty of hiking options.  Take a self-interpretive relaxing hike on the Vista Nature Trail or give the 3-mile Thunderhead hiking trail a try on Mt. Werner and see what the trails look like with green grass instead of snow.  If your group is looking for a more culture in your hike try the Guided Gourmet Hike, which includes a Gondola ride to the top of the ski area, and a hike to a gourmet lunch buffet complete with white linens and a glass of wine. Or visit Fish Creek Falls.  One of Steamboat Springs' most popular and most photographed attractions, this 283-foot waterfall is only 3 miles from downtown Steamboat Springs.  The handicapped accessible overview trail is also an excellent picnic spot, or make this a day hike by hiking the Fish Creek Falls trail to the upper falls or all the way to Long Lake.

A Night on the Town-- With more than 100 bars and restaurants your group has many options when it comes to dining in Steamboat. From pizza or burgers to fine dining, Steamboat Springs has something to fit the unique needs of your group. Follow-up your group dinner by attending the Steamboat Springs ProRodeo Series every Friday or Saturday night mid-June through mid-August at Romick Arena! See real rodeo cowboys in action as they ride bulls and try to stay a-top of bucking broncs!

Day Three
Take a Day Trip- By now you've explored the mountain, downtown or the river and seen why so many locals have chosen to make this place home.  Now see what the area around Steamboat Springs has to offer.
Head north and enjoy the open green fields of local ranches on your way to a day of recreation.  Visit one of two Colorado State Parks in the area: Steamboat Lake or Pearl Lake where you can hike, bike, boat or just relax.  Climb to the top of Hahns Peak and take in the view of the entire county, or hike one of the trails off of Seedhouse Road near Clark and visit the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness
Head south and visit another Colorado State Park, Stagecoach Reservoir, known far and wide for its epic fishing. You can also boat, hike and bike around the area.  Or, take a drive to the small town of Yampa, the gateway to the Flattops Wilderness Area.  This unique mountain range, named for the fact that the whole range is well, flat-topped.  Whether you choose to summit, or enjoy the serenity of the lakes and meadows below, your breath will be taken away.

Day Four
Find the essence of Steamboat Springs- The area of Steamboat Springs is many things to many people: a recreational playground, an artists inspiration, the real west preserved with historic ranches and buildings.  Here's a brief list of the places you need to see if you haven't yet:

The Tread of Pioneers Museum: a living monument to Steamboat Springs' ski history, and early pioneers
Howelsen Hill Ski Area and Sports Complex: Colorado's oldest ski area in continuous use (it opened in 1915) is a small ski area bounding with activities in the summer!  Take a thrilling ride on the Howler Alpine Slide, hike the trails or ride them on a horse, or cool off on a summer day with ice skating at the Howelsen Ice Arena
The Strawberry Park Hot Springs: experience why the area's first settlers, the Utes, and earliest tourists chose this are as their summer relaxation destination
Art Spots: as you walk through downtown Steamboat Springs, take note of the "Art Spot" signs that designate the business as a place where local artists' work is on display.  Be sure not to miss the center for the arts: the Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at the Depot
